    There’s much, much better out there. This book isn’t too good, unless you’re completely uninitiated to such information. Many people are.

    But that’s a poor standard.

    If you doubt my severe review, just look at the more glowing ones carefully.

    Although I am by no means unbiased (I contributed some tips about negotiating to the book), Getting from College to Career is a must-read for college students.

    Lindsey Pollak provides important information that young people can (and should) act upon immediately to ease their transition into the world of work. It can be very difficult to “grow up”; Lindsey’s book makes it a lot easier.

    Parents, take note – you may have offered advice similar to Lindsey’s but your kids are more likely to act on her suggestions – she is younger and cooler!
